A studio that loves to dance

Pole can be about strength, tricks and learning things you never thought your body could do.

But at Feelin’ Peachy, we also really love to dance.

That might mean learning a slow, sensual routine in heels. It might mean contemporary movement, theatrical choreography, Latin and ballroom-inspired steps, chair dance, floorwork or something completely different.

We learn routines. We play with different styles. We perform. We put on showcases. And we give adults the chance to explore dance without expecting them to already know what they’re doing.

Because you don’t need a childhood full of dance lessons to become someone who dances.

You can start here.

Dance as much - or as little - as you like

Our studio culture is shaped by dance, but there’s no expectation that every student has to love choreography.

Some of our students want to perform.

Some want to learn sexy pole.

Some want to rediscover the joy of dancing after years away from it.

Some are discovering dance for the very first time.

And some would much rather spend their class time climbing poles and working on tricks.

All of that belongs at Feelin’ Peachy.

Pole fitness: tricks, strength & skills

Not here to dance? No problem.

Our pole fitness classes are all about learning spins, climbs, poses, tricks and combinations while building strength, coordination and flexibility along the way.

You don’t need upper-body strength before you start. You build it by doing pole.

Beginners start with the fundamentals and progress at their own pace, with plenty of variations to suit different bodies, abilities and experience levels.

Come because you want to get stronger.

Come because you want to learn cool tricks.

Come because hanging upside down looks more fun than going to the gym.

Stronger without the boring bit

Pole gives you a reason to keep coming back because there is always something new to learn.

One week you might be working on your first climb. A few months later, you might be looking back wondering when you became the person casually holding themselves upside down.

The strength comes with the skills – and quite often, you’re having too much fun to notice how hard you’re working.

New to pole? You can start here.

You do not need to be strong, flexible, coordinated or good at dancing before your first pole class.

That’s what the classes are for.

Our beginner pole classes are designed for adults starting from scratch, so we’ll teach you the basics step by step and help you build strength, confidence and technique as you go.

What if I’m not strong enough?

Very few people arrive at their first pole class already able to climb a pole.

You build strength by doing pole, and beginner classes are designed to help you develop it gradually.

What if I’ve never danced before?

Completely fine.

If you choose a dance class, we’ll teach you the movement and choreography rather than expecting you to already know it.

And if dancing isn’t your thing, you can stick with pole fitness and focus on spins, tricks and skills instead.

What if I’m nervous?

Also completely normal.

Most people feel a bit nervous before their first class — especially when they’re trying something they’ve never done before.

You won’t be expected to know what you’re doing, and you won’t be the only beginner in the room.

Do I need to be flexible?

No.

Some students become more flexible through training, but you don’t need to be bendy to begin pole.

We work with the body you arrive with.

What should I wear?

For pole fitness, shorts are useful because skin contact helps you grip the pole. A vest top or T-shirt is absolutely fine on top.

For dance classes, what you wear depends on the style – and you definitely don’t need to turn up in heels on day one.

We’ll tell you exactly what you need before your class.

Your first job is simply to turn up

You don’t need to get fitter first.

You don’t need to practise at home.

You don’t need to wait until you feel more confident.

Come as you are, and we’ll take it from there.

Come As You Are

Starting something new as an adult can feel weirdly terrifying.

Especially when that something involves a pole.

You might be wondering if everyone else will be fitter than you. Younger than you. More confident than you. Better at dancing than you.

They won’t be.

Feelin’ Peachy is full of adults with different bodies, backgrounds, personalities and reasons for being here — from complete beginners taking their first class to students who have made pole a huge part of their lives.

You don’t have to look a certain way to belong here.

You don’t have to arrive confident.

And you definitely don’t need to bring a friend.

Come on your own. You won’t be on your own for long.

A lot of our students first walk through the door by themselves.

What they find is a studio where people learn together, laugh together, celebrate each other’s wins and understand that everyone was the nervous new person once.

Classes are supportive rather than competitive, and our instructors will help you work at a level that makes sense for yourbody and your experience.

Because pole isn’t about keeping up with the person next to you.

It’s about discovering what you can do.

Serious teaching. Not-so-serious people.

We care about good technique, safe progressions and teaching you properly.

We just don’t think that means classes have to feel intimidating.

Expect encouragement. Expect laughter. Expect the occasional bit of chaos. Expect people to get ridiculously excited when you finally nail the thing you’ve been working on.

Feelin’ Peachy is somewhere to learn, move, dance, get stronger and find people who are genuinely pleased to see you succeed.

You don’t need to fit in before you come. Come along and find out why people stay.
